Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is an American actor and producer who is well-known for her high-quality performance in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, including an Oscar for the film Piano. The path to acting began with Broadway with a variety of Broadway as well as Off Broadway initiatives. From her early years she's always been enthusiastic about acting. She was Helen Keller as a fifth-grade pupil in a school performance. Mumps led her to lose her hearing in one of her ear canals, but that did not stop her from fulfilling her dream. In her teens, Hunter studied drama and eventually moved to New York City. In a chance encounter she was stuck in an elevator alongside playwright Beth Henley and the two joined forces to create the play 'The Broadway Crimes of the Heart and made Hunter's debut. After moving into Los Angeles she tried to obtain film roles and was offered the role of a co-star in Swing Shift. Holly Hunter has been in a number of films, TV series and movies over the course of a 30 year career. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and she also received her the Women in Film Lucy Award.
