Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is an American actor and producer. She has been recognized for her exceptional performances in films including Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Piano, as well as The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, including an Oscar for the movie Piano. Her acting career began on Broadway by performing in a range of Broadway as well as Off Broadway initiatives. The actress has always had an interest in acting ever since she was in school. Her debut role in a show in the fifth grade was Helen Keller. The mumps caused her to lose hearing in one of her ears, but this was not enough to stop the actress from fulfilling her dream. While in college, she studied drama, she moved in New York City with her ambitions to achieve them. She was introduced to Beth Henley in an elevator and they worked together to make Broadway Crimes of the Heart, Hunter's first film. The first time she appeared in a film was when she moved in Los Angeles. For the past 30 years she's appeared in various TV series and movies. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has also won her the Women in Film Lucy Award.
